Why did you choose Robert Morris University? “I went to an information session and they gave me a lot of one on one attention, everything seemed to be about me. Then when I came for registration everyone knew my name. Beyond that they have a location down town Chicago, they have small class sizes, and they understand what a student wants. It was an easy choice.” How do you think RMU is preparing you for your career? “Robert Morris College is giving me real life experience. The location and Chicago offers a lot of diversity, the classes are realistic, and many of my instructors work in the field so they can give you real scenarios.” How has your experience living in Chicago changed you individually and academically? “I am more open-minded because there is so much available. I came from a smaller town where your opportunities are limited as well as the way you think. When you come here you get a broader point of view and there is always something to do from plays, shopping and restaurants to festivals and events.” How is this experience different then you expected? “I expected to be completely on my own and the instructors not to care about my success, but then I got here and it was the just the opposite. The instructors really care about you; it’s like a family here.” What would you like to tell others who are considering RMU as one of their college choices? “Robert Morris College is a great school. I knew that if I didn’t come here I would regret it, so if you are even thinking about it just go for it. This is the best experience I have ever had. I actually like going to school and it’s not only about the academics -- there are a lot of advantages here with organizations to get involved in, a great career services department, and you are in Chicago, what could be better!”
