Loan Deferment

Currently enrolled students have the option to request the deferment of their student loans to postpone payments until 6 months after graduation, or the last day of attendance.  In order to defer their loans, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 classes to have part time status. Student loans are deferred by each program level: Professional Diploma, Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree. Blank deferment forms are available in Financial Services on location. However, when you contact your lender you will be sent a completed form that only requires your signature. The Student Information Office requires a completed form with your signature to process your loan deferment.
