Traditionally the University offers two commencement ceremonies per year: one in the spring and another in the fall. Commencement is a formal academic ceremony and academic attire is worn. There is a $25 fee to attend the commencement ceremonies. Graduation fees for the ceremony can be paid at your campus Bookstore or online through the eBookstore. Graduation fees are non-refundable. Students CANNOT charge this fee to their student account.
Attendance at the graduation exercise is optional; however, graduates that have satisfied degree requirements are entitled and encouraged to participate. When students satisfy their course and grade point average requirements, they will receive detailed instructions concerning the commencement exercise from the Student Information Office or the location bookstore.
Students who are one quarter away from meeting degree audit requirements for graduation may pay their graduation fee and attend the graduation ceremony. Students who may be eligible for awards will be able to receive them, and their names will be printed in the graduation program as long as payment is received before the set deadline date.
