It seems like it has been a long time since I have had a chance to do something for myself. It has almost been a year straight that I have been in college and it feels like forever. You know that saying "time flies" or "it seems like only yesterday that we graduated from high school" well It feels like it went really fast but can I say that while I was going through it. College has been an adventure for me. It has opened my eyes and broaden my horizon to so many different things. I’m doing things now that I couldn't imagine doing before I got here. It has opened doors for me and showed me that there is something out there for everybody. While it has been an adventure, it has also been difficult. I have hit some speed bumps and have had some hard times. I have been through a lot in this short period of time but you know what, it has all been worth it. Everything you do is a learning experience whether good or bad or if you realize it or not. I have been through a lot and have learned a lot it and I wouldn't take anything back or regret anything. Life is what you make it. You are in charge. No one can change you and make you do something but you. Be proud of what you have and know that when it gets hard that it too shall pass!

So we are at the halfway point of the quarter. Time is really flying. As you know I am doing my externship this quarter. It had been an interesting experience. I think I have come a long way to where I am now. I have had some tough days but I have pushed through those days and I try to keep going. No job is easy and every job has work but as long as you are doing the things you love, you should be just fine. Sometimes you can be in a job that you thought you loved and had a passion for and it can turn out that you don’t. That’s the great thing about college. It helps you to find what you want and helps you to make a life long decision. College doesn’t just further your education and your career success, it also teaches you how to make tough decisions and helps you to figure out and find what you want. I’m glad I went to college and I cant wait to see what is in store next. |
