So I know that this is about my first vacation and almost being twenty years old your kind of thinking like wow that sucks. Well this isn't really my first vacation but my first vacation going without my parents and not only that but with my boyfriend. Now my parents have been so strict on me since I was younger and my freshman year of highschool is when I met my boyfriend. Yea highschool sweet hearts, how cute, but that isn't my story, my story is how amazing it was being in florida for about five days.

Now I have only been on a plane once in my life and it was about six years ago and we had to get on two different planes. Oh jeez it was a hassle and the worst part about flying was my ears popping. It was terrible. Something that I realized is that a lot of travelers are always in a hurry and they could be so rude. We were in line for the boarding of the plane and this guy cut me off, might as well have knocked me over, and you know what happened, I got stuck sitting next time him. So yea people are really crazy at the airport.

Another thing about airports is the security part. You think if you were traveling you would make that part easy on your self but no I made it so difficult and it was even worse when your holding people up. I had to take out all my electronics and my metal stuff, I will know for next time.

So finally getting to Florida at about 10 at night, I was exhausted. My boyfriend, John, and I stayed at his grandma's house in West Palm Beach. It was just gorgeous, her house was right across the street from the ocean. like literally. what I love the most was the huge pier that went out far into the ocean. John took me out there everyday, because I was so determined to see a pelican or hopefully a shark. Luckily I was able to see both! The funny thing was that a fisherman had caught the shark, it was pretty big. There were always a ton of people out there fishing. Also, I saw a lot of people wind surfing, which looked so cool.

We walked along the beach. we never really went swimming in the ocean because my boyfriend complains that it is to cold. But luckily the complex had a nice pool we went swimming in alot. When I was laying out I was able to realize what a difference it is having florida sun on you compared to illinois sun. It was so hot! We walked to this turtle lodge. which was really cool and i was able to see these huge sea turtles. This place takes in unhealthy turtles and hurt ones; they care for them until there ready to go back in the ocean. They were beautiful.

Everything was just gorgeous out there, most of all the sunrise over the ocean was amazing. Just beautiful. The trip was so nice, I really did not want to come back home. It was quite the experience and it makes me want to start planning the next trip!

So at least one of my blogs had to be about my boyfriend, John. Now being together for five years has been seriously the toughest thing ever! Relationships are definately not easy. Now there are so many stories I could tell you about us but im just going to tell you how we met.

John moved out to my nieghborhood around November of 2003. Such a long time ago. I didnt notice him in the halls of highschool until Janurary. Caught my attention but me being so incredibly shy I could never go up and talk to a guy. Are you crazy I dont do those things. haha So of course my best friend had her boyfriend and im the third wheel.. Great feeling! Well she told me that thier was this new guy on her bus that she thought I would get along great with. So crazy thing she ended up pointing out john and she introduced us. So we started talking and getting to know each other.

Now at the time john had lost his voice, he was sick with something. I am NOT good with conversation. Ive gotten better, and if I know I need to keep a conversation going I try my hardest but I stink at it. So were talking and I cant hear a thing he is saying and just knowing him I didnt want him to think I was weird because I keep saying what or huh.

So he finally asked me out. YAY! Couple weeks went by and I never really met his mom but I wanted him to meet my parents. Was I nervous, even though I knew that john was such a great guy, such a gentlemen, my dad can be crazy with the guys that I date. So its in the middle of winter and John only lived three blocks away. I gave him directions to my house. So that night im waiting forever and I knew something wasnt right. I put my coat on and decided to meet with him. I got down to the end of my block and dont see him anywhere.. got the his block and I still dont see him. Im thinking, if he didnt leave yet im going to be furious. So I get to his house and his mom answers the door. She told me that he had already left.

So turns out john went in the opposite direction as what I told him.. men! haha. So that was the first night I was actually meeting his mom and it was crazy because I told her my last name, after she asked, and she said "WOW! I know your dad!" So I was hoping it was a good way and not bad.

Turns out my aunt, my dad's sister, was good friends with John's mom when they were all in thier teens. Not only that but she also met my parents because she works at a tile store and my parents came in to buy tile when we first moved. So the first time she actually saw me was when I was in fifth grade.

So I was really taken away at how crazy small the world is and now five years down the line and me and john are still together. AWWWW HOW CUTE!
