About Me

My name is Jeremy and I am a student at Robert Morris College in Peoria Il. Right now I am in the process of completing the Bachelors curriculum in Computer Networking. I have a 5 year old son named Dakota who is in Kindergarten and a wife Laurel who is currently attending nursing school at a local hospital here as well. When I get a break in my hectic schedule, some of my hobbies include snowboarding, creating electronic music, and mixing records as well as hang out with my son and wife. I plan to use this space as an opportunity to share some about upcoming events at Robert Morris College, as well as concerts and local events happening around the Midwest. This weekend, Devil's Head ski/snowboard park in Wisconsin opens! I had plans to go to it, but unfortunately final exams are going to have to take priority this time, so I have to put snowboarding off for another week. I guess it will give me a chance to make sure my gear is ready for the season. If any other RMC students snowboard or ski and want to get a group together to go send me an email and we'll see if there is a date that works out for everyone. send emails to jkai12@gmail.com.

School is going pretty well, but I will be so glad to be done with my associate's program. It is nice to finally hit a major milestone in my education and cannot wait to be finished and get a job in "the real world"!

We've all finally made it to the holiday break. I feel wierd saying "holiday" this year rather than Christmas, but I guess that's the way of the future.

My wife and I are finally leaving for hawaii tomorrow! We're both so excited as well as stressed out with packing for us and our son. Our boy will be staying with Grandma and Grandpa all week so it should be a great time for him and us as well.

I don't really have a whole lot to say about school. It was the 3rd week this past week and we were involved in creating databases and working on cisco stuff again. I really enjoy the cisco classes and can't wait to actually start working on some of the cisco equipment. I guess that will come eventually.

Bachelors Program

Hello All!

My computer has been down for the past couple of weeks so I have not had a chance to write at all! I am finally a Junior at RMU! Classes are going great, I really enjoy the Cisco program, it is a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. Our Network Database class is a lot of fun as well, although so far we are just reviewing how to create tables in SQL and I know about how to do that stuff already. The pictures posted are from our Math Class. Math is going suprisingly well for me because i've never been really good at it.

Well, enough about school...It's almost Christmas! I am leaving for Hawaii on the 24th of December to go on a cruise of the islands! It's been really hectic trying to plan all of the details of the trip, I never imagined it would be this much work! We plan to dock at some of the ports and hang out and then party on the boat for New Years Eve. It should be a lot of fun. I'll try to keep this a little bit more updated than I have so far.
