My name is Greg Taylor and I am a culinary arts student at the RMC Chicago downtown campus. I didn’t have an idea of what I was going to go to college for until my junior year of High School while living in Rockford. I was always a fan of cooking but never knew that I would one day become a professional chef in Chicago. In my personal experience life has many ups and downs and what I know for sure is that coming to Robert Morris College is definitely one of the ups that life has taken me through. I soon plan to start my Bachelors degree program in January of 2008 and I believe that coming back for my BA will put me way above the rest of the competition because of my drive to better myself educationally. A person once told me that there are ordinary people and there are extraordinary people and the only thing that separates the two are the extra things the extraordinary people do. So I try every day just to be EXTRAORDINARY!

What does it take to be a great student?

How can a person determine if they are a great student? Or how can you be a great student if your not already one?

 

I'm gonna tell you the number one secret on how to be a great student, now you have to get real close to the screen to read this because its a really big secret and only you can know what it is........this is how you can tell if your a great student. You’re reading this right? You’re on Robert Morris's website right? Well that’s the secret; you are making the biggest step towards becoming a great student by checking out different colleges that you may want to attend. RMC is one of the only schools I know that constantly remind you that you’re important and that you are the future for the real world. I’m not talking about MTV's real world I’m talking about getting up every morning going to a job that you love because you've learned everything you need to know about it by attending the off the hook classes at RMC where they get you ready for that real world.

All of the signs say you’re a great student, now all you have to do is read them.
