Gregory
Campus: ChicagoProgram: Culinary Arts From: Rockford, IL More...
My name is Greg Taylor and I am a culinary arts student at the RMC Chicago downtown campus. I didn’t have an idea of what I was going to go to college for until my junior year of High School while living in Rockford. I was always a fan of cooking but never knew that I would one day become a professional chef in Chicago. In my personal experience life has many ups and downs and what I know for sure is that coming to Robert Morris College is definitely one of the ups that life has taken me through. I soon plan to start my Bachelors degree program in January of 2008 and I believe that coming back for my BA will put me way above the rest of the competition because of my drive to better myself educationally. A person once told me that there are ordinary people and there are extraordinary people and the only thing that separates the two are the extra things the extraordinary people do. So I try every day just to be EXTRAORDINARY!

If you are a College Basketball fan and you attended the RMC home basketball gave on last Saturday night at Loyola University then you saw the dynamic halftime show that the RMC dance team and guest put on, I was one of the guest and let me just say it was no easy task learning all those steps that my partner and I did but I will say that it was one of the most memorable and fun thing that I have ever done at this school. if you missed it don’t worried, this coming Saturday is round two and let me just send a warning out to the other dancer who my partner and I are up against, bring your dance text books because we are gonna teach you old school style :) Next on Real Life...
Birthday Wish!!!!
So it’s my birthday today Friday February 22, and I’m not too excited, I don’t know why but I’m not. I think it’s because I have a lot of great things going for myself right now and if I get excited about all of them at once then I’ll loose my mind, so I have to stay grounded some how ya know? But anyway I am very grateful that it’s my birthday and I thank God for another year especially in Chicago at RMC this has been some of the best years in my life at RMC and wouldn’t change a thing...okay maybe one thing lol |
Groups
After coming to RMC I realize that I love to work, I know it sounds crazy but its true I love to work and I love being at work. I think I can say that because RMC teaches you how to deal with groups and how to deal with employers of all kinds with the many teachers here that have been in the industry for so many years, so I think if you don’t like to work...you will by the time you finish RMC |
