My name is Greg Taylor and I am a culinary arts student at the RMC Chicago downtown campus. I didn’t have an idea of what I was going to go to college for until my junior year of High School while living in Rockford. I was always a fan of cooking but never knew that I would one day become a professional chef in Chicago. In my personal experience life has many ups and downs and what I know for sure is that coming to Robert Morris College is definitely one of the ups that life has taken me through. I soon plan to start my Bachelors degree program in January of 2008 and I believe that coming back for my BA will put me way above the rest of the competition because of my drive to better myself educationally. A person once told me that there are ordinary people and there are extraordinary people and the only thing that separates the two are the extra things the extraordinary people do. So I try every day just to be EXTRAORDINARY!

I Wanna Dance With Somebody
More...

Okay so most people who know me know that I am not a shy person at all and when it comes to pleasing a crowd I’m all for it, but you see there’s this new event that RMC is doing at all of the home basketball game half time shows and it involves me and a few others well its supposed to involve us. It’s called Dancing with the Stars, RMC edition. we students get to pick one of the RMC dance squad and spirit team members to dance with us and compete at the half time shows at the home basketball games at Loyola University here in Chicago and I signed up for it, yeah people I know how to dance but I’ve never competed like the girls have, so anyway we have to audition first this Thursday and I’m kind of nervous about that because I don’t have a dance down with my partner for the big audition Thursday or the style of dance for that matter. So what is a guy to do? well I think that the event will be fun and that’s why I’m doing it to have fun at my college, if you keep up with my blogs then you know that I have a lot of stuff on my plate right now and really don’t have time to be dancing around but I’m going to do it anyway because that’s what makes college memorable, having fun with your friends.

Look Out Oprah!!!!!

Yes you read it right. I want Oprah to move over because I’m ready to take over Chicago like a bad winter storm. ooooo I like that "Blizzard Man" lol well anyway to get to the point, over the past two years since I moved here to Chicago I have been going back and forth on whether or not I should try and start my own TV show. Well it wasn’t until about a month ago I had a meeting with a very important person in the city. We sat and talked, emailed, text ect. and they agreed to run this race with me and develop my show. So coming this February we will begin shooting the pilot for my talk show and let me tell you it’s going to be a blast. The best topics the hottest guest the number one hot spots in Chicago to film and that’s just the pilot. I am so excited about this because not only is this a dream come true of mine but it’s also a great thing for young Chicago teens and even young Americans as well. This show is something that will touch millions all over the world and not just Chicago. I am a strong believer that it will happen and I will do everything in my power positive to make that happen in fact it’s my new year’s resolution, to make dreams come true including mine.
