About Me

I love to sing, my favorite color is hot pink, and I'm in the RMU Show Choir. I chose RMU because I love the location and that it is a private, not-for-profit university with small class sizes.

Hey Everyone,

Hope everything has been great for everyone for these past couple of weeks. Life has been pretty great for me. I have recently discovered that I will be graduating in the month February 2012 with my associates. I’m so excited to walk across that stage and allow my family to witness my success.

The reason why I happen to be so excited is because when I graduated from High School I wasn’t supposed to walk the stage because I was planning to stay at my State meet during the entire graduation but fortunately I returned just in time to walk, out of order but I walked. My family wasn’t able to make it in time to see me walk but this time they are extremely determined to become apart of this graduation.

I believe I invited more people than I have tickets for so hopefully I am able to purchase tickets so that some of my family doesn’t get let down not being able to go to this one. I don’t think I will receive any big awards at this graduation but I am so determined to receive a lot of rewards when I am finally presented with my bachelor’s degree.

Thanks for tuning in everyone hopefully I have more exciting news to share next time!

Hi Everyone,

My First couple of track meets was great!!! For my first meet I was extremely nervous because I felt greatly unprepared. At the most recent track meet I came to compete.  I participated in the Long Jump (which happens to be my specialty).  Unfortunately I finished with second place under my competition. I managed to jump 5.20 meters; the mark to qualify for Nationals is 5.35 which is also my personal record form last year. For my mark to be this high so early in the season is a great accomplishment from last year. The meters that I jump from now on should only show progress and hard work. I’m glad I have progressed a lot this year because that has given me a better opportunity to become an All-American this year. Hopefully I Jump the qualifying mark soon!!! WISH ME LUCK!!!

Hello Readers,

Life has been extremely exciting for me for these past couple of weeks. The Indoor Track and Field season has started and I am very enthusiastic about it this year.  Not being the official captain has its personal roles. I can say I took on the leader role a little more this year. My teammates look at me for answers, and for motivation on and off the track. I can admit I often feel pressured at times because of the fact that if I choose the wrong path so will my teammates. So I’ve been trying to stay out of trouble as much as I can nowadays. I’m glad to be the positive spokesperson of my team and I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.
