About MeI love to sing, my favorite color is hot pink, and I'm in the RMU Show Choir. I chose RMU because I love the location and that it is a private, not-for-profit university with small class sizes.

As you know last week was my roommate Cheyenne Dinkins 20th birthday. We had so much fun. It started from the night before at 12am. I tagged her name in every social network site I had! I started to sing happy birthday to her as soon as the clock struck 12. Following me was our next door neighbor Brittany and our best friend Del’Ra Sutton. It was great and she seemed to love it so I was happy. The next day before I went to work I taped a Happy Birthday banner on our wall as well as a crown on a chair in front of her door so that when she woke up that morning it would be the first thing she saw. Later that night, Cheyenne and a couple of friends of ours decided to go to Bennigan’s (which is a burger restaurant downtown) it was only a five minute away so we decided to walk. Anyone who knows me or any of my friends knows that whenever were together were singing, and knowing that fact one would come to the conclusion we were definitely were singing. We began to sing Poison, and Candy Coated Rain Drops; sorry everyone but I don’t know the name of the artist. When we finally got to the restaurant the DJ began to play our favorite songs which were forcing a vocal reaction from our entire table. We even got up to dance a couple of times which of course attracted some of the other people that were dining. After we ordered and were sitting down waiting for our food to arrive, someone from another table approached our table to ask us to sing a song for their table. At first we thought it was a joke but we all got together and agreed to sing. Unknowingly after we sung a couple of songs for the man’s table he paid our entire bill. As excited as I was for my roommates birthday I asked our hostess to announce her birthday over the intercom, the entire restaurant wished her a happy birthday after that. Hey Everyone, Hope everything has been great for everyone for these past couple of weeks. Life has been pretty great for me. I have recently discovered that I will be graduating in the month February 2012 with my associates. I’m so excited to walk across that stage and allow my family to witness my success. The reason why I happen to be so excited is because when I graduated from High School I wasn’t supposed to walk the stage because I was planning to stay at my State meet during the entire graduation but fortunately I returned just in time to walk, out of order but I walked. My family wasn’t able to make it in time to see me walk but this time they are extremely determined to become apart of this graduation. I believe I invited more people than I have tickets for so hopefully I am able to purchase tickets so that some of my family doesn’t get let down not being able to go to this one. I don’t think I will receive any big awards at this graduation but I am so determined to receive a lot of rewards when I am finally presented with my bachelor’s degree. Thanks for tuning in everyone hopefully I have more exciting news to share next time! Hey Everyone, These past weeks have been very eventful for me. I have gone through three weeks of my fall quarter. School in the morning, work in the afternoon, and practice for show choir at night. I almost had five classes this quarter but my fifth class was cancelled because of the lack of interest and participants in other students. I don’t believe I would have received enough sleep this quarter if that class hadn’t got cancelled. This past weekend I went to a tattoo parlor with my roommate Cheyenne and a couple of friends I paid $75 to get my belly button re-pierced. YES IT HURT A LOT! The only reason it hurt this time was because of the scar tissue that the needle had to break through. Of course, I asked Cheyenne to watch as I got it pierced. Cheyenne was completely unprepared for what was visually in store for her. She has admitted to not wanting a piercing after witnessing me get one. Thank everyone for reading. Until next time.
