Hello Everyone,

So these past two week have been the absolute best so far. My roommate and I have been hosting mini get parties for two weeks straight. The parties are sticky card playing parties, we play UNO and Spades. Unfortunately my roommate does not know how to play Spades yet so we began our card parties with UNO seeing as though it takes an extended amount of time to finish playing Spades; especially with people who don’t know how to play. During the parties I spend most of my time trying to find a decent partner, but unfortunately until I teach my roommate how to play I will continue to lose. I wish I had time to teach her how to play but with all the things that go on throughout the day we don’t really get have any private roommate time. I can’t wait to see what these next two weeks will hold for me!

This is the last week of the summer quarter I’m a little sad, but also extremely excited for the fall and the winter. It’s about time to start training for track season again. I’m so excited for the season to start. Nationals are right around the corner unfortunately I’m not ready; I don’t think if it was in two weeks I would qualify for it. Just thinking about the time that I have until I train with my team is getting me even more excited for the season.

On another note, I’ve been really sleep deprived lately. The reason is because of Choir rehearsal, work, and class they are really draining me. I can’t really blame anyone but myself because I like to keep myself busy during the school year. I rarely have any free time to visit with friends and go home to visit even though my hometown is only 45 minutes away on the train. Hopefully I have enough time this weekend to see my family and to visit with some of my friends because I’m going to “Friend Withdrawal”.
