Fall is finally kicking in!

Today is the first of November. Time is really flying by! We are already in week 6 of our fall term. Halloween activities come to a close while Thanksgiving starts to show its face.

I was sooooo proud of our first show choir performance yesterday. We are a very young group, but we really pulled it together. We will now be starting to prepare for our winter show. It is exciting knowing that we are finally showing everyone what RMU Show Choir is all about!

I also started training for RMU Ambassadors last week. I am thrilled about the activities and events we are bringing to the table here at Robert Morris. It seems like we have a very nice group of ambassadors this year who are eager to spread Robert Morris’ name.

Basketball season is finally here! I love basketball season. Since the NBA lock-out, I have been eagerly waiting for college basketball to start up. I have been around basketball all my life and the RMU basketball teams both have some great talent that I am looking forward to supporting.

Well, time drags...

Things have been going very fast paced lately.

I did my first event and open house as a student ambassador.  It tons of fun interacting with high school seniors and their families and educating them on our school.

I cannot believe we are already entering into week 8 out of 10! This quarter has really flown by! My roommate just got back from her study abroad trip in Florence, Italy. It feels like yesterday that we were helping her prepare for her travels. All of my classes are going very well, but I am very anxious for my classes for next quarter!

Our football season has come to a close but our basketball teams have started their winter seasons. As a Show Choir member, you can find me singing the national anthem at some of the games with many of our other members. We are also busy preparing for our winter program and different events and activities around the city.
