NBA
More...

My life without the NBA is hell. I am a huge basketball fan; basketball is still my life even though I don't play anymore. Not being able to watch this season is affecting me drastically. I have nothing to watch basically. I like football, but I don't love it and any other sport bores me.

I think that this whole lock out is stupid. It's not the player's fault that they are good at what they do. If you're good at it you should get paid for it. It's not fair that the WNBA gets to continue when nobody even watches them, I know I don't. One player that they can take out of the league is Kobe, but that's a whole different subject.

I've been waiting for this season to start so that my team, Miami Heat, can make a comeback from last year. They need to just let them play, who cares how much they get paid. I love the competition, and the entertainment. I think I will go on strike because I am very passionate about this subject. I think they are just mad and did this on purpose.

All I know is that they better bring the NBA back or else! I don't really know what else but I just felt like saying that. Please, NO MORE lock out!

Just Dance
More...

I am proud to say that I am on The RMU Dance Team. We have done such an amazing job so far and Iím excited for the months to come. I have been on the dance team since August and a lot has changed since then. When I first got there I wasnít as comfortable with being on the team, and it wasnít as welcoming as I thought but I came to realize that itís just because we have so many different personalities on the team.

I am kind of on the shy side when I first meet new people so I was kind of off to myself while others got accustomed to new people right away. But after a while I realized that they donít bite so I socialized and made a lot of new friends. I love our team and the different personalities. We all have a variety of different talents as well, but together we are a great team.

I also have amazing coaches. We basically have 3 coaches and they are all above and beyond with talent. I believe everything they tell me is to better me because theyíve already been through it. Our three captains are amazing dancers as well. Weíre just a great team.

I canít wait to perform for our next game which is tomorrow, and It will be televised which is great; more motivation. I love the dance team and dancing.

Family

I am so excited for thanksgiving this year. I always love to see my family and be with them for a whole day full of fun. This year is going to be a little different though. A lot has changed and a lot of it was for the better and other things not so much. But on a more positive note I am going to be in the Thanksgiving parade with my dance Team. I am extremely excited seeing as this is my first time doing something like this.

Besides the parade I am going to see all my family, even the ones who donít stay in Chicago. Seeing family who has been gone for a while is always nice. One of them is in the Navy and itís always nice to see him come home safely. Family means a great deal to me and without them I would be nothing. Whatís a thanksgiving without family?

This will also be my bunny, Oreoís first thanksgiving with everybody. He really is a part of the family and not just a pet. I weird how we went from not having a pet for 18 years then all of a sudden he just pops up in our life. He is a great addition to the family and everybody loves him. Plus he really knows how to eat so I know heíll enjoy thanksgiving as well.

Although all these great things are happening, Iím not looking forward to after that week. Iím not looking forward to week ten and then starting all over again the week after. I wish we had longer breaks to just hang and be with our families. Iíve been in school nonstop since last September; I think itís time for a break. But overall Iím excited for Thanksgiving and what the rest of the year has in store.
