My biggest goal in life is to do the best that I can. I am proud that I have made it this far, and I plan on going even further.

The Best
More...

Friends, how many of us have them, friends, the ones that we depend on, friends! Safe to say I know I will have one friend who will always be on my side and thatís my best friend. This is a person I can trust and tell anything to. I always know that they will have my back no matter what, and will be with me through anything. That person is my mother.

I honestly do not know what I would do without her. She's my support system for anything and everything. I will never find a person like her. My mom is my drive to do well in school and in life. Without her Iím nothing.

She has taught me so much and I appreciate so much now. I love my mom more than anything in the world. Even though sometimes we bump heads, she will always be my right hand and bff. Sometimes I have to take a step back and look how lucky I am to have such a great relationship with her. Sheís a great mother and everyone should have a mother like her in their corner. Thanks mom, for everything!

NBA
More...

My life without the NBA is hell. I am a huge basketball fan; basketball is still my life even though I don't play anymore. Not being able to watch this season is affecting me drastically. I have nothing to watch basically. I like football, but I don't love it and any other sport bores me.

I think that this whole lock out is stupid. It's not the player's fault that they are good at what they do. If you're good at it you should get paid for it. It's not fair that the WNBA gets to continue when nobody even watches them, I know I don't. One player that they can take out of the league is Kobe, but that's a whole different subject.

I've been waiting for this season to start so that my team, Miami Heat, can make a comeback from last year. They need to just let them play, who cares how much they get paid. I love the competition, and the entertainment. I think I will go on strike because I am very passionate about this subject. I think they are just mad and did this on purpose.

All I know is that they better bring the NBA back or else! I don't really know what else but I just felt like saying that. Please, NO MORE lock out!

Working

I honestly want to get a job while I am in college, but I donít see how people do it. I am a student athlete in both the Womenís Track and Field and the Dance team. When will I have the time for a job? I know that I can try to make time, but I guess a lot of jobs arenít flexible. I had trouble and my last job when I was working retail because of school.

I would like a job though because I want to start doing things on my own. I want to be more independent then I am now. I have this little job at the school but I want to work outside and expand my experiences. I want to work before I start my internships and be more familiarized with the working class.  I want to be more experienced.

When I get a job that I love I am going to work my way to the top. Iím not going to just work there because itís a place that I earn money. Iím going to make the most out of where I work. That would only be best or I would never be happy. Itís always a good idea to work your hardest. You never know what will happen because of that.

I wonder how many jobs I will have before I have the right one for me. I know I am going to continue to stay in school so that I can educate myself further. Itís always good to learn more than you already know. That way when you are looking for a job you will really know what you are talking about and have proof for it. Itís good to be able to back up what you say.

I just canít wait to start actually working. I want to work for a purpose and enjoy what I am doing. But I know it will take time and I will work my way up that ladder.
