Marching Band, Pep Band, Drum Line & Color Guard

“Drum Majors – Is your band ready to take the field in competition?”

It’s the most exciting question you hear all year. It can be hot, cold, sunny, raining or snowing. At that moment there is no turning back. In just a few seconds you will begin marching in front of hundreds of people who are in the stands cheering for you, your band, and your university.

The Marching Maroon is comprised of Marching Band, Drum Line & Color Guard. The ensemble performs at all Eagle Football games and Basketball games. In addition to athletic events, the ensemble performs at parades and special occasions throughout the year.

Students who join The Marching Maroon will begin learning music and the show routine by attending a 2 week band camp. Camp begins August 19, 2013 and students should contact Director Michael Zaremba to learn more.

Become part of the Marching Maroon today and join your RMU classmates in the rewarding musical challenge of Marching Band, Drum line & Color Guard! Scholarships are available for students who join and maintain active participation in rehearsals and performances.
