Choirs

“Music is the voice of the soul.”

As a member of a RMU choir ensemble you will have the opportunity to further your musical education through performing solo and ensemble music at events on and off campus. Scholarships are available for students who join and maintain active participation in rehearsals and performances.

State Street Singers is an entry level show choir ideal for new and beginning singers. If you have never sung before you are welcome to begin your journey as a vocalist in this choir. Show choirs perform music that is fun, full of excitement and accompanied with dancing. The group emphasizes basic singing technique, working in an ensemble and beginning choreography.

University Choir is an intermediate and advanced choir that is open to any singer based on audition. The choir is dedicated to improving the individual singers technique and understanding of music through the performance of classical music pieces in English and foreign language.
