The Orland Park and Chicago Sigma Beta Delta Chapters had a great day volunteering at the Chicago Food Depository. Eleven Sigma Beta Delta members worked with other community volunteers to prepare individual food boxes for families in emergency situations. Three busy hours resulted in packing 26,225 pounds of food which translates to 1,049 boxes filled with food! It was truly a rewarding experience for everyone who participated.
