Title VII Grant at RMU
In 2009 the University was awarded a $3 million Department of Education grant. Robert Morris was one of 5 institutions nationally to receive this award.
The goal of the grant is threefold:
- Increase enrollment in the Master’s of Information Systems program
- Increase the number earning a Master's Degree in Information Systems by expanding facilities and integrating new technologies and support strategies into the curriculum
- Expand the current scholarship program
Activities supported by the Grant:
- New, state-of-the-art Graduate Center, including smart boards, conference rooms, and numerous MAC/PC work stations
- MIS scholarship (for eligible students)
- Faculty development workshops/conferences
- Infusion of new technologies to simulate the “real world” work environment
- Graduate Teaching Assistants that provide additional out-of-class support
