ICenter
Robert Morris University’s ICenter allows students to work as a consultants with real clients in an authentic work environment all while earning credentials, credit towards their degree and valuable work experience. In ICenter Projects, students can take initiative, make decisions and be accountable for results in a creative and supportive environment while working on projects that have meaning for what they want to do professionally. The ICenter is an institutional division at RMU, encompassing all campuses and all Schools of Study. Students from several different campuses and programs may work on the same ICenter Project. Leadership Forum
The Leadership Forum is a unique feature of the MGSM. Recognized leaders in their fields speak to students in an interactive, open-forum format. Integrated into the core curriculum, these forums cover a wide variety of topics relevant to the graduate programs.
In addition to creating an extraordinary learning opportunity, the Leadership Forum gives students the opportunity to network with industry leaders and allows them to experience first-hand what great leadership is all about.
Writing Consultancy
Great communication is the foundation for success in any business. MGSM recognizes how important communication is and holds communication improvement as one of the objectives of our programs. All students in the MGSM are required to take a communication class which allows them to hone in on their writing, speaking and ethical decision making abilities while also thinking critically about problems.
Although students take this class as part of their curriculum, the faculty of MGSM realizes that communication is a skill that needs to be nurtured and developed over time. In recognition of this, we offer our students the option of writing consultancy throughout their program. Students have the ability to meet one-on-one with an instructor that specializes in communication to assist them in constantly improving their writing and communication abilities.
