Robert Morris University's ICenter allows students to work as consultants with real clients in an authentic work environment, all while earning "Integration Level" credentials, credit towards their degree and valuable work experience. In ICenter Projects, students can take initiative, make decisions and be accountable for results in a creative and supportive environment while working on projects that pertain to their professional goals. The ICenter is an institutional division at RMU, encompassing all campuses and all Schools of Study. Students from several different campuses and programs may work on the same ICenter Project. Students can earn course credit towards their degree. ICenter Courses may replace the following (all with Dean approval):
The goal of ICenter Projects is to offer more opportunities for students to earn "Integration Level" credentials on both the Universal and Programmatic Competencies, which will be valuable to students in their professional careers.
Working on ICenter Projects will also contribute to students' levels of work experience and networking opportunities and help them achieve the coveted "work experience" requirements of most hiring organizations.
