Finding Scholarships

Searching for scholarships senior year should be your PART-TIME JOB! If you can't find any scholarships it's not because they do not exist, it is because you didn't look hard enough!

  • http://www.fastweb.com is one of the best resources you can use to find scholarships that you may be eligible for.
  • www.scholarships.com is another site to use.
  • ASK YOUR HIGH SCHOOL if there are scholarships you may be eligible for or may be able to compete for.
  • ASK COLLEGES YOU ARE APPLYING TO about scholarships.  Check out RMU scholarships at www.robertmorris.edu/scholarships.
  • ASK parents if their places of employment offer scholarships
  • CHECK your local businesses, like grocery stores, drug stores, and department stores if they have any scholarships available. Look at their websites!
  • Many organizations will host competitive scholarships that you not only have to meet certain requirements set by the organization, but they also want an essay, speech, or some sort of project completed that will be used to critique you against your peers.
  • YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE BRILLIANT to earn a scholarship!
