Choosing a college is an enormous decision - for both students and parents. Much time is spent visiting colleges, inquiring about academic programs and adjusting finances to meet your family's needs can be overwhelming.
"One of the great strengths of America is its rich and diverse systems of higher education. Collectively the colleges and universities of this system make a college education attainable for just about everyone. This equal opportunity for quality education is the envy of every other nation on the planet. All of the other countries of the world understand that education is the foundation of prosperity and the great equalizer of all mankind."
- Michael P. Viollt, 100 Ways to Cut the High Cost of Attending College

Accreditation is a voluntary, independent review of educational programs to determine that the education provided is of uniform and sound quality. Being awarded accreditation ensures that an institution has been evaluated and that it met set standards of quality determined by the accrediting organization granting the accreditation. A college or university's accreditation is maintained by continued adherence to the set criteria.
Visit robertmorris.edu/about/accreditation for additional RMU accreditation information.
To apply to Robert Morris University, students must submit an Admissions Application and a copy of their official high school transcript and standardized examination results.
Because only 67% of undergraduate students are accepted to the University, RMU recommends submitting letters of recommendation and/or a resume listing work or community service experience to help with an acceptance decision. Once the Admissions Review Board evaluates your student's admission file, its decision will be communicated through mail. Students can go to robertmorris.edu/apply to apply online.
