Cost

Before deciding on a college, it's importnat to discuss finances with your family.  With tuition, fees, books, supplies and housing, it all adds up fast.  But remember the printed cost of a higher education instiution is not necessarliy what you will pay.  There are many resources available to help offset the cost of a college education, including the following types of aid that can be included in a financial aid package:

  • grants
  • scholarships
  • loans
  • Federal Work Study

The RMU Difference

Private education isn't as expensive as you might think. RMU's tuition is 30% lower than the average private college in Illinois.  Scholarships combined with grants and student loans make our already low tuition an even better investment in your future. In 2007-2008, RMU awarded more than $19 million in scholarships to our students.

You can afford to earn a degree:

  • Merit-based scholarships
  • Athletic scholarships
  • Competitive scholarships
  • Need-based financial aid
  • Government grants and student loans
  • Payment plans to fit your budget
