The City of Chicago has asked for the cooperation of all Chicago organizations next Tuesday evening, November 4, in preparation for the political function planned downtown for that evening.  Therefore, we are canceling evening classes at our Chicago campus for Tuesday, November 4.  The Chicago campus will officially close at 2 p.m.  on that day and reopen on Wednesday at the normal time.

Your Tuesday evening faculty will contact you either in class or via Blackboard regarding any needed changes in the syllabus.

Emergency Information

In the event of an emergency, the University uses multiple methods of emergency notification to inform the RMC community about the nature of the emergency and how to respond.  In the event of a time-sensitive emergency, the primary communication methods are text, cell, and e-mail messaging.  Please review the RM-Alert page for further information on this system.

In instances that are less time-sensitve, e-mail blasts and this web page will serve as the primary method of communication.  The Chat Live Icon will allow for real time communication with RMC representatives.

 Emergency Planning

The University's emergency planning protocols were developed to ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors in the event of a campus disaster or other emergency situation.  The resources and information contained on this website are a componenet of the overall Emergency Plan.
