Culinary Arts Associations & Organizations

The American Culinary Foundation (ACF) is a professional, not-for-profit organization for chefs and cooks.  Its aim is to promote the professional image of American chefs worldwide through education.  It is the largest and most prestigious professional organization of chefs in the United States.

The International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) is a not-for-profit professional association which provides continuing education and development for its members who are associated with the culinary industry. 

The James Beard Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that celebrates the country's culinary artists, provides scholarships and educational opportunities, serves as an industry resource and offers members the opportunity to enjoy the delights of fine dining.

The National Restaurant Association is the leading business association for the restaurant industry. 

Slow Food, a movement that originated in Italy, is now an international movement with over 60,000 members.  It is committed to supporting and promoting the world's quality food and beverage patrimony.

Women Chefs & Restaurateurs was formed in 1993 by eight of the nation's top women chefs and restaurateurs.  This association of over 2,000 members offers a variety of networking, professional and support services.
