Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD)

Society for News Design (SND)
The SND specifically caters to those who create print, web and mobile publications and products. The nonprofit organization for news design has served the industry since its founding in 1979. Approximately 1500 members currently take advantage of the benefits that are available, which include an annual workshop, class discounts, access to a digital publication and the ability to enter their award competition.

Society of Illustrators
The Society of Illustrators was founded in 1901 with this credo: "The object of the Society shall be to promote generally the art of illustration and to hold exhibitions from time to time." This design organization offers eight membership options including illustrator, educator, corporate, student and "friend of the museum."

Society of Publication Designers (SPD)
The Society of Publication Designers (SPD) was founded in 1964 and exists to promote editorial design. Members include art directors, designers and other graphic design professionals. University and College Designers Association (UCDA)
The University & College Designers Association (UCDA) exists to promote excellence in visual communications for educational institutions. American Cultural Resources Association (ACRA)

American Institute of Architects (AIA)
The American Institute of Architects Chicago (AIA - Chicago) is the largest chapter of licensed architechs, architectural interns and allied professionals with AIA Illinois, ad the largest AIA chapter in the country. 

American Institute of Building Design (AIBD)
AIBD is committed to providing quality continuing education to ensure that our members remain current with technology, materials and building codes. American Society of Interior Design (ASID)
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a community of people — designers, industry representatives, educators and students — committed to interior design. International Interior Design Association (IIDA)
IIDA works to enhance quality of life through excellence in interior design and to advance interior design through knowledge, value, and community. IIDA is a professional networking and educational association of 12,000 members practicing in nine specialty forums and more than 30 chapters around the world.
