Founded in 1978, American Assocation of Finance and Accounting (AAFA) is the largest and oldest alliance of executive search firms specializing in the recruitment and placement of finance and accounting professionals.

American Banker Online provides information to banking and financial services professionals as well as job information in its "Career Zone."

Big Five Talent is the leading website dedicated exclusively for Big Five experienced professionals seeking job opportunities with the top companies in the United States.  It features an extensive database of job listings easily searched by position, location or specialty area.

CPAjobs.com has been serving the accounting industry online for 8 years.  This site contains employment listings for Certified Public Accountants at all levels of their careers.

FinancialJobs.com links job seekers with accounting and financial jobs for professionals at all levels of their careers.  This free service also has links to other valuable resources including relocation assistance, resume tips, networking techniques and employer research information.  This site has been named as a "Top 100 Online Recruiting Site" out of 20,000 competing sites.

 

Accounting Associations & Organizations

The American Accounting Association (AAA) promotes worldwide excellence in accounting education, research and practice.  Formed in 1916, the AAA is a voluntary organization of persons interested in accounting education and research.

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is the national, professional organization for all CPA's.  Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public as well as employers and clients.

The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) was formed to increase the opportunities for women in all fields of accounting and finance.  Members include partners in national, regional and local CPA firms, financial officers, controllers, financial analysts, recent college graduates and women returning to the workforce. 

The American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA) is a national organization dedicated to serving all women CPA's.  The AWSCPA provides a supportive environment and valuable resources for members to achieve their personal and professional goals through various opportunities including leadership, networking and education.

The Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) is the leading professional association dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latinos in the accounting, finance and related professions.  Membership is open to anyone who shares its values, mission and principles.

BKR is an association of independent accounting and business advisory firms representing over 125 member firms in over 60 countries worldwide. 

CPA Associates International is an association of certified and chartered accounting firms.  Some member benefits and services include educational programs, consulting services, client publications, referral opportunities and access to the resources and talents of fellow members through networking activities.

The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) exists to promote and develop the professional skills of its members, encourage and assist minority students in entering the accounting profession, provide opportunities for members to fulfill their civic responsibility, and represent the interests of current and prospective minority accounting professionals.
