Eagles recognized in post-season awards! Once again RMC-Springfield placed a handful of soccer players on the USCAA post-season teams.

The 2004 Lady Eagles sets new standard!
You could call the 2004 season for Coach Pat Phillips and his Lady Eagles a breakthrough season. Since joining the USCAA in 2001, the Lady Eagles have steadily moved up in the rankings year by year, until now. The 2004 season witnessed several first for the team. They defeated NCAA Div. I Arkansas Pine Bluff 3-1, swept their two-game series with USCAA foe St. Mary's of the Woods, recorded eight shut-outs, and was ranked #1 in the USCAA National Poll for two weeks.
Several individuals were recognized among the nations best:
1 - Michelle Oldani; 14 GP, 21 G, 16 A, 58 Points
3 - Britnee Stubbs; 14 GP, 14 G, 10 A, 38 Points
11 - Keely Rupert; 14 GP, 7 G, 6 A, 20 Points
16 - Theresa Wilkins; 14 GP, 3 G, 10 A, 16 Points
20 - Katie Kuhns; 14 GP, 5 G, 5 A, 15 Points
22 - Brittany Kink; 13 GP, 3 G, 8 A, 14 Points
GK - Kendra Smith - 4th in the nation; 12 GP, 1070 Minutes, 12 GA, 1.01 GAA
Eagles bounce-back!
For a second straight year at the USCAA Nationals, the Lady Eagles are forced to compete in a consolation game due to a first round defeat, and for a second straight year, the Lady Eagles show their resolve. The Lady Eagles defeated Warren Wilson College 1-0 on a goal from Brittany Kink
Lady Eagles fall just short!
Facing #5 seed Southern Virginia in the first round of the USCAA Championships, the Lady Eagles offense never got rolling. Unable to find their form, RMC was defeated in the first round by a score of 0-4.
RMC-Springfield receives #4 seed!
Finishing their regular season with a record of 12-3, best in team history, the Lady Eagles of Springfield received the #4 seed in the 2004 USCAA National Championships to be held at Bluefield College.
RMC continues winning way!
The Lady Eagles improved to 9-2 for the season with a strong showing over Parkland CC 4-2. Leading the way for RMC was Michelle Oldani with 3 goals and Keely Rupert with 1 goal. GK Kendra Smith had a strong performance stopping 11 Parkland shots. Parkland scored their second goal late in the game on a penalty shot.

Two female athletes from the RMC-Springfield Lady Eagles have been recognized by the USCAA for their outstanding performances this past week.

RMC-Springfield improves to 4-1!
Freshman Brittany Kink and sophomores Brittnee Stubbs and Michelle Oldani continued their scoring ways each with a goal to secure a 3-0 victory over Lincoln College. Senior GK Kendra Smith recorded the shutout.
Eagles #1 in the nation!
For the first time in school history the Lady Eagles have received the #1 ranking in the nation by the USCAA as of September 15th. RMC-Springfield has started off with a 3-1 record with an impressive performance over NCAA Div. I Arkansas Pine-Bluff. Currently leading the way for RMC is sophomore forward Michelle Oldani (Rochester, IL) with five goals and three assist as the #1 scorer in the nation. Right behind Michelle is sophomore forward Britnee Stubbs (Springfield, IL) with four goals and two assist as the second leading scorer in the USCAA. Joining Michelle and Britnee is freshman midfielder Bittany Kink (Riverton, IL) with one goal and three assist as the nations 14th leading scorer. Senior goalkeeper Corrie Heyen (Gillespie, IL) is currently 5th in the nation with a 2.13 GAA.

Injuries set back RMC-Springfield!
The Lady Eagles suffered their first defeat of the season to Delta State University. A rash of injuries forced RMC-Springfield to play without a handful of starters. Michelle Oldani scored RMC's only goal.
Lady Eagles off to an undefeated start in 2004!
The RMC-Springfield Lady Eagles have jumped out to a 3-0 start for the young 2004 season. With opening victories over visiting Marantha Baptist Bible College (5-2) and USCAA foe St. Mary's of the Woods (5-0), RMC-Springfield then traveled south and defeated NCAA Division I Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3-1).
Katie Kuhns, Michelle Oldani and Britnee Stubbs each scored first-half goals to lift the Eagles over Pine Bluff. GK Kendra Smith recorded six saves to secure the victory.
