RMC-Springfield .500 after eight matches!
Approaching the mid-way point of the fall season for the Lady Eagles they are holding strong with a 4-4 record after eight matches. However, they've seen their fortunes change slightly as they will more than likely have to finish 2003 without their starting goal keeper Kendra Smith. Smith, during a routine play in training, suffered a torn ACL and will likely be out for the remainder of 2003. Smith goes in for surgery on October 8th and we wish her the very best and a speedy recovery for 2004. In the mean time, junior defender Corrie Heyen as stepped up as Smith's replacement and done so admirably. Freshman GK Ashley Dawson in turn as stepped out from goal and onto the playing pitch.

Senior Night

The Lady Eagles next prepare for a return match with Lincoln Christian College on Monday, September 29th at SASA Field #1. Kick-off is at 6:30pm. Come out and show your support for your RMC Lady Eagles.

2003 Looking More Promising!

Only just five matches into 2003, Coach Phillips, his staff and team are optimistic about their season. Sitting with a record of 3-2, and having just finished co-champs of their own Eagle Invitational Round Robin Tournament, they next travel north to test themselves against our own institution as they square off against RMC's women's NAIA team from our Chicago campus. This weekend's challenge doesn't end there, they must then turn around and travel to Kentucky to face Spalding University.
