The Robert Morris College Lady Eagles Soccer Team (Lake County), in just its second season as a member of the USCAA, earned a bid to the National Soccer Championships, Nov. 2-4, in Rochester, MI. Playing with spirit and skill, the Lady Eagles overcame their underdog label and took many by surprise, earning a 6th place finish at the prestigious tournament. This accomplishment came only one year after the Lake County squad mustered just one win in 2005. Much of RMC's success this season was due to the superlative play of Krystle Guzman, Gema Mariscal, and Sam Reed, the potent trio who meshed beautifully with the unselfish team work ethic preached by Coaches Farr and Lettsome.
