Tom is entering his fourteenth season as Associate Head Coach of the
Robert
Morris
University women’s soccer program.He has helped guide the Eagles to the 2004 NAIANational Tournament “Final Four,” three straight NAIA National Tournament appearances, three consecutive NAIA Region VII titles, four straight CCAC Conference championships, and a final 2004 NAIA rating of #2.Tom is a 1995 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside located in
Kenosha, Wis., where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics. At Parkside he was a standout player and earned NCAA All-American honors in 1991 and 1993 and the team's Most Valuable Player Award in 1993. He became the school's all-time leading scorer and holds many other scoring records. After his collegiate playing career was through, Tom continued with the program as an assistant coach, where he helped guide the team to an NCAA No. 1 ranking and the school's first berth in the NCAA National Tournament. In 1999, Tom was inducted into Parkside's Athletic Hall of Fame, and was named to
Lake
Park
High School's All-Century Team in 2000. Currently, Tom is a staff coach with the Olympic Development Program and the Illinois Youth Soccer Association, training and evaluating youth players for state, regional, and national select teams. He currently plays for Green-White Soccer Club, a top amateur soccer club in Chicago, and also has played for the
Illinois and Wisconsin State Select Men's teams. Tom holds an advanced coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation, brings a wealth of soccer knowledge from his playing and coaching experiences, and also is a full-time academic advisor at
Robert
Morris
University.
