The Robert Morris Women's Soccer team is an established power in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.  Under Head Coach Kurt Melcher they have won six Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season championships and madefour trips to the national championship tournament.  In 2004 the Lady Eagles reached the Final Four of that tournament. The 2008 season will be an exciting one as RMU seeks to regain the top spot in the conference after having their six-year streak stopped in 2007.  All-American Maria Shipe (Bexley, OH) leads an experienced team butressed by new recruits from across the Midwest. Head Coach Kurt Melcher (pictured below at left-center) enters his 14th year at the helm.
