Davis named to lead the Lady Eagles Golf Program!

A native of Springfield, IL and Southeast High School graduate, Coach Larry Davis is named to lead the inaugural season of the Robert Morris University women's golf team for the Springfield Campus.
A member of the Western Illinois University men's golf program, Coach Davis received his Bachelor Degree from Western Illinois in 1989. After a long career working in Law Enforcement at the County and Federal level, Coach Davis has refocused his career to his passion.
In 2005, Larry became a Certified Professional Golf Instructor, and has coached high school golf for Ursuline Academy and most recently at Lutheran High School in Springfield, IL for the past five years. Coach Davis currently works at Piper Glen Golf Course where he helps run the Pro Shop and also at Piper Glen's indoor golf facility Studio 59 teaching golf.
"We're excited to bring Larry on board to lead our women's golf team. With Larry's passion for teaching the game of golf, I know he's the right coach to get our women's program up and running in the right direction," states Associate Athletic Director Chris Ryan.
Larry resides in Springfield with his wife Janice, and they have three children; Gabrielle, Karli and Michael.
