At the age of three Lindsay was enrolled in her first dance class at a small community studio in southern Illinois. Through her younger years Lindsay competed in local, regional, and national competitions as a company member of different studio's she was associated with. Once Lindsay and her family settled in the Chicagoland area in 1994 she continued to dance and compete with local studios.

In 1995 she earned a spot as a freshmen on the Bolingbrook High School dance team.  For the next four years she danced with the Bolingbrook Raiderettes, serving as Captain her senior year. During those high school years Lindsay and her teammates received several IDTA state championships and places 11th overall at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) National Competition in Walt Disney World. She was also awarded the opportunity to dance for UDA in the 1998 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City and the New Year's Day Parade in Paris, France.

As Lindsay graduated from high school and looked for summer work she volunteered at a local All Star Cheer and Dance gym as an assistant coach for their junior level and adult level dance team. Once a student at Northern Illinois University she also participated on the NIU dance team and was a member of the Sigma Kappa national sorority. Lindsay transferred to The Art Institute of Chicago and graduated with a Bachelors of Art in Fashion Marketing and Management.

Still with the passion to dance and perform, Lindsay utilized her dance experience to join several professional teams here in Chicagoland. Over the past five years Lindsay has been a member of the Schaumburg Flyer's Dance Team, the Chicago Storm Chasers, the Chicago Mustang Dancers, and the Rockford Rampage Dance Team. Even though Lindsay has recently retired from performing on the professional level she continues her education on dance with classes at a few local studios.

Assistant Coach: Brittney Brown

Brittney Brown, originally from Benton Harbor, Michigan, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Oakland University, located in Rochester, Michigan. There, she was actively involved with and performed for the Oakland Dance Theater. In addition, her original works of choreography were performed by students in that program. Her passion for dance also led her to teach at the Stepping Out on Faith Learning Center and EDE Center for Dance.
