Following on the heels of earning back-to-back trips to the United State Bowling Congress National Collegiate Team Championships, the Robert Morris Women's Bowling team begins their fifth year of intercollegiate competition with high expectations.

The 2008-2009 season was capped off with a 9th place finish by freshman Samatha Kelly (Hoffman Estates, IL) at the USBC Singles Championships.  In addition, the Lady Eagle Bowlers placed in the top five in ten tournaments as well as winning the IL State BPA Collegiate.

Kelly along with All-American Heather D'Errico (Rochester, NY) and Mindi Miller (Battle Creek, MI) will anchor a very experienced and talented goup of bowlers for RMU.  The Eagles will be a heavy favorite to make a return appearance in the 2009-2010 USBC Team Championships held in El Paso, Texas.
