Jessica Harris was one of the key signings in Coach Renee Bostic's second recruiting class. She donned the Maroon & Gold after a great career with the Lady Commandos of Chicago's Marshall High School, where she played her prep ball under the tutelage of the legendary Dorothy Gaters. She made an immediate impact on the college level, leading the Lady Eagles in scoring with a 14.1 points-per-game average off 46 percent shooting from the floor. Her top performance in scoring came against conference arch-rival Olivet Nazarene with hit for 27. She also grabbed over two-hundred rebounds for the season, averaging nearly seven per game with a high game of 17 boards. Those stats earned her All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team honors as a rookie. She was a main factor in the Lady Eagles putting together their first winning season in five years.
A Chicago Public Schools All-Academic team member, Jessica is majoring in Accounting at Robert Morris. She has a loyal cheering section at every home game, led by her greatest fan: her mom, Yvette Blanks.
