Chanel Jones-Delas joins the proud tradition of RMU international athletes, joining the Lady Eagles from Canada's capital city.  She was a stand-out at St. Francis Xavier High School in Toronto where she led Coach David Tucci's Tigers to back-to-back regional titles.  She also starred on the outdoor oval on the SFXHS track team before she moved south to begin her collegiate basketball career at perennial NJCAA Division I powerhouse Mineral Area Community College in Park Hills, MO.  During her time in the Ozarks under MHCC Head Coach Gary Koch, Chanel averaged over eleven points a game with 4.5 rebounds a game and 4.2 assists per game.  The Knights compiled a 18-8 record during Chanel's sophomore campaign.

The daughter of Sherrydawn Warren and Willie Delas, Chanel enjoys a good steak.  She is majoring in business administration at Robert Morris and hopes to eventually be involved in the field of early childhood.
