2007-2008 Outlook

The Eagles are back and ready to get the season started.  After missing the MACHA playoffs last season, the returning players and new group of rookies are ready to climb their way back into the playoff hunt. 

The Springfield Eagles have added six new rookies to join their 13 returning veterans.  Two of the new players, Jairon Walk and Dan Ferguson, join RMC from the LLHH Champions Normal West Wildcats.  Two other local players, David Long from the Decatur Wolves and Eric Henderson from Lincoln Land Community College, join the squad.  The two remaining new rookies join Springfield from out-of-state.  They are James Woods from the Forrest Lake Rangers in Forrest Lake, MN and Ross Williams from the Dallas Titans in Bedford, TX.

Seniors Kasey Courtwright (Broadwell, IL), JJ Pyat (Pekin, IL) and Steve Jakubiak (Boca Raton, FL) are joined by juniors Kris Harris, Brian Walters, Nils Lundin, Dave Kleuskens and Zach Birmingham.  Sophomores making up the squad are Derrick Brown, Joel Taylor, Justin Elmore, Geoff Bueschel and Gene Johnson.
