ACHA Divison II, GLIHA
Playing in the tough Great Lake Intercollegiate Hockey Association (GLIHA) will provide this year's squad with plenty of chances to prove that they can contend for an ACHA D2 National Tournament berth. After posting a 13-game winning streak during the 2007-2008 and earning a sport in the ACHA Central Region Tournament, the Maroon will look to take the next step and garner a spot in the national field at Grand Rapids, MI, in March 2009. Second-year Coach Bud Hickey will lead a veteran Maroon squad hungry to prove themselves on the national stage into tough Central Region action.
