Game Summaries
Robert Morris University (PA) 8, Adrian College (MI) 1 [Division I]
The Colonials took control early and ran out to the decisive opening game win behind 31 saves from goaltender Robbie Falick. Eight different players found the net for RMU.
Minot State University (ND) 4, Robert Morris-Gold 2 [Division I]
Two power-play goals and a shortie spelled the difference for the Beavers as the Gold outshot MSU 33-22 for the game but still came up on the short end of the score.

Robert Morris-Maroon 7, Northern Illinois 4 [Division II]
After the scoreless first period, the Maroon and the Huskies went on a scoring binge. Robert Morris came out ahead, although NIU got within two in the third period before the Maroon added an insurance goal.
Robert Morris-Springfield 7, Robert Morris-Peoria 4 [Division II]
The central Illinois rivals played a hard-fought physical match decided by the Springfield Eagles' four goals in an eight-minute span of the second period. David Long scored twice for RMCS.

Robert Morris 5, Ohio State University 0 [Women's Division]
Junior goaltender Ashly Miller (Estevan, Saskatchewan) had to stop just seven shots to earn the shut-out. Ashley Hangsleben (East Grand Forks, MN) scored twice as the Lady Eagle Icers outshot the Buckeyes 46-7 for the game.
University of Minnesota 4, University of Wisconsin 2 [Women's Division]
The Golden Golphers broke open a 2-2 tie with a pair of goal within two minutes spanning the second intermission. Noelle Cascalenda got the game-winner for UM in a tightly played defensive struggle with the two teams putting up a combination of 36 shots. Amanda Oliverius got the win in goal for UM.

Minot State University (ND) 5, Adrian College (MI) 2 [Division I]
The Beavers broke open a close game with three goals in the final period, including one scored on a two-man-up power play. MSU's match-up with RMU on Sunday will determine the Men's Division I tournament champion.
Robert Morris University (PA) 6, Robert Morris-Gold 2 [Division I]
The Colonials kept possession of the bust of the two schools' namesake--Founding Father and Revolutionary War financier Robert Morris--for the second straight year. A three-goal first period explosion powered them to the win. Two third-period scores did little to assuage the Gold as RMU put up their second blow-out win of the tournament.

Robert Morris-Maroon 8, Robert Morris-Springfield 4 [Division II]
University of Wisconsin 5, Ohio State University 2 [Women's Division II]
Chelsea Couvette scored a pair for the Lady Badgers as they evened their record in the tournament. UW outshot OSU 34-15 for the game.

Robert Morris 3, University of Minnesota 1 [Women's Division]
It looked as if the Golden Golphers were going to come away with their second 1-0 win over the Lady Eagle Icers this season until RMU exploded for three goals over the final four minutes of the game. Bridget Katz (Cambridge, MN) tallied on a deflection to tie the game at 4:05, and Nicole Welch (Woodbury, MN) got the game winner less than thirty second later. Ramey Weaver (Eagle River, AK) scored on an empty net with nine seconds remaining. Jade Getz (Medicine Hat, Alberta) got the win in goal.
University of Minnesota 2, Ohio State University 2 OT [Women's Division]
The exciting play that has characterized the Women's Division at the tournament was not lacking on the final day as even extra time couldn't decide a winner. OSU got the tying goal with less than three minutes left in regulation and killed off a penalty inthe overtime to preserve the tie.
Minot State University (ND) 5, Robert Morris University (PA) 4 [Men's Division I]
The Beavers claimed the championship by winning a game in which they were out shot 46-26 by the Colonials. MSU dominated the first and third periods, while RMU scored four unanswered goals in the middle stanza. The Beavers foudn the net twice in the third to tie and then take the lead, shutting down RMU for the last nine minutes to finish tournament 3-0 and take the Men's Division I title.

University of Wisconsin 2, Robert Morris 1 [Women's Division]
The Badgers took the title with their first win over the Eagles in five years. Wisconsin used a late first-period score to take the lead, then added another midway through the second period. RMU found the net with 8:42 remaining in the game, but Wisconsin stood the withering pressure of the Eagles' attack to claim the championship.
