Erik Osborne - Offensive Coordinator, Strength & Conditioning, Quarterbacks

Osborne begins is 2nd year as the Offensive and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator at Robert Morris and will coach the quarterbacks. Prior to his arrival at RMU in the summer of 2010, Osborne spent one spring at Colorado State University as a graduate assistant under Head Coach Steve Fairchild before accepting his current position.

Osborne travelled to Colorado State from Illinois Wesleyan University where he spent two seasons as the Wide Receivers Coach for the Titans under Head Coach Norm Eash. During his time at IWU, Osborne tutored 3 All-Conference athletes while also serving as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coordinator en route to a CCIW Conference Championship and NCAA Division III playoff appearance in 2009.

Following his graduation from Black Hills State University in 2007, Osborne served one season as the Yellow Jackets’ Quarterback Coach, a season that ended with an NAIA Top-25 national ranking and a Dakota Athletic Conference Championship. Before landing a position on the staff of BHSU, Osborne quarterbacked the Yellow Jackets to a DAC Championship in 2006 and earned 1st Team All-Conference honors that same year. Osborne also spent time as a quarterback for NCAA Division II Chadron State College where he earned 3 varsity letters and was a member of the 2002 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship team.

Osborne holds an undergraduate degree in History from Black Hills State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Sports Psychology from Illinois State University. He is a native of Fort Collins, Colorado and currently resides in Aurora, Illinois with his wife Chelsey.
