In just their second year of intercollegiate bowling competition, the Robert Morris Men's Bowling team surprised the nation with their performance by qualifying for the United States Bowling Congress Team Championships. 

The 2008-2009 Eagles won both the Warhawk Open and Eagles NAIA Baker Challenge in addition to placing in the top ten in several events.
 
USBC All-American Chris Bardol (Brockport, NY) along with Ben Plourde-Betchkal (Kenosha, WI) and Steve Dinelli (Skokie, IL) will head a strong group of Eagle Bowlers in their quest for a bid to the 2009-2010 USBC Team Championships in El Paso, Texas.
