2010-2011 Season Outlook
RMU returns loads of experience from last season's 11-15 team in junior guards Anthony Patton and Brandon Myles, a Southeast graduates. "Brandon is more of a true point guard," RMU coach Scott Eades said. "(Patton) just kind of assumes the responsibility because of his leadership skills."

Eades' roster is mix of returning and new players. Athens product and sophomore guard Brady Smith is back for another season. Junior guard Tim Tarver, who played for Lincoln College's National Junior College Athletic Association Division II national championship team last season, is new to the Eagles. "Last year, we led the United States Collegiate Athletic Association in 3-point percentage and field goal percentage," Eades said. "A large part of that was we moved well offensively and executed. If we can play as a real cohesive unit, which we have the last couple years, we have a chance to be OK."

"We're athletic and quick. We're going to be a little quicker than last season. With our lack of size, the question is can we rebound the ball with what we've got?"

RMU must replace Ephrem Davis, who led the USCAA his senior year in five categories, including rebounds, blocked shots and double-doubles last season. The Eagles' tallest player is 6-foot-7 junior center Steve White, one of two players from Milwaukee. He's joined in the frontcourt by 6-foot-6 returning junior forward Trey David.
