Mike Griffith

Assistant Coach, Men's Basketball

Mike Griffith is one of the great names in the history of Robert Morris basketball.  "Griff" was the starting point guard on the 2002 NAIA National Runner-up team, setting a single-game record with nine steals in the semi-finals.  He was known for his hard-nosed defense and ability to distribute the ball.  A "Coach on the Floor," he set RMC records for assists that season and his play at the point was key in his teammate Bobby Smith's earning National Player of the Year honors.  He joined the coaching staff after his graduation with a degree in business management.

His coaching responsibilities include scouting and working directly with the Eagles' guard cadre.  Griff is also a great sounding board for the players and liason for the coaching staff.

He is also the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity.
