It was important for Coach Mike Kashirsky to assemble a staff that knew what he expected of both his players and coaches, so it was not a surprise when he opted for Pascual Santiago as his Associate Head Coach.
"Pascual and I have worked together for a long time," says Coach Kashirsky.
Indeed they have. During Kash's tenure at Moraine Valley Community College, Coach Sanitago oversaw the Cyclones' pitching staff. They also work together as part of the Frontier League Windy City Thunderbolts' coaching staff where Pacual serves as the bullpen coach.
Coach Santiago has extensive coaching experience in football as well, most recently for Chicago Christian High School in Palos Heights, IL. His baseball credits include a stretch with NCAA Division II Lewis University (IL).
"We've got a great opportunity at Robert Morris," says Coach Santiago. "A lot of the pieces are already in place for us to turn the program around."
A lifelong resident of Blue Island, IL, Coach Santiago lives in that historic suburban village with Michelle, his wife of twenty-one years, and their three children.
